Why
did you give your life to Jesus: I realized that going
to church all my life wasn't enough to save me - it was something
that I had to make my own. When you experience a TRUE TOUCH
from the Father, giving your life to him is easy.
What
are you learning now: God's really been showing me
the difference between walking in the light and walking by
it. I've seen so many friends walk close to the light but
they can't seem to let go of that relationship, habit, or
whatever. It's like they are just a step from being in the
light but they can't seem to let go of what they have. This
is what the Lord's been showing me. Eph
5:8-14
Biggest
influence on your life: My parents had the largest
influence. I watched as my parents pastored our church. Being
the oldest of three sons, I noticed everything. They had their
share of very hard times, as well as times blessed by God's
favor. Through it all, they always told us that God was faithful.
I watched and saw what it takes to be a man of integrity.
When circumstances in life went against them, they stood on
the promise that God gave them. My eyes saw my parents fall
(like all do) but I watched them get up stronger than before
and I couldn't be more proud of them! Missions have also influenced
my life greatly. Something about laying your life down for
others changes your perspective of the world you live in.
What
is your favorite thing about what you do: I get on
stage and get to worship my Creator! When I'm up there and
I see people weeping because they are experiencing God's presence
like I have - experiencing a touch from a Holy Father longing
to be with His child. I can't imagine doing anything else
more fulfilling.
Any
advice for people out there: Love God. Don't be afraid
of it either. Live God Loud! Let Him change you so you can
impact your generation!
